Steven, the champion of Hoenn, is said to be the strongest trainer in Hoenn. In actual, Steven was only the 1st-runner up of the Pokemon League but when Wallace request to be a gym leader, he then took up the position. Steven likes to search for rocks, which people nicknamed him as 'stone getter'. For some top secret purpose, he just kept like nothings had happens and even gives his life to save everything.

As a Mudkip, Landon choose it as his starter and was given the name of 'Zuzu' because it makes a 'Zuzu' sound when sniffing. It evolves into Marshstomp while in Granite Cave and into Swampert while battling May's Grovyle at route 119. It shares a close bond along with Landon. It's ice beam makes a great lightning conductor that helps to conduct Nunu's electric attacks that knocks off Steven's Metagross. In Emerald Series, Zuzu knocks off the oppenent with a muddy water and helps to disperse the giant creature with a hydro cannon.


Zigzagoon-Linoone

Since it was a Zigzagoon, Nunu is one of the Pokemon given by Norman during his childhood and it learn a series of thunder attacks. It evolves into Linoone while in Granite Cave. Its pickup ability allows him to pickup item easily and somehow stealling things by using covet. In Emerald Series, Nunu helps Landon to contact Jordan for the latest news while its trainer was away. Later, it deliver a volt tackle to disperse the gigantic creature.


Tailow-Swellow

Attack:wing attack, double team, sky attack, aerial ace, steel wing, endeavor
Since young, this Tailow was given by Norman to Landon. Due to Norman's tough training, it has a very powerful sky attack. It evolves to Swellow after defeating Brawly. It shows its loyalty towards its trainer by taking him flying around the sky route. In Emerald Series, Tatay paired up with Wally's Flygon to break Guile's armor.


Wurmple-Cascoon-Dustox

Attack:string shot, poison sting, psybeam, mirror coat, reflect, light screen, barrier, silver wind, signal beam, psychic, moonlight
While at Petalburg Woods, this Wurmple got a liking towards Landon and save its trainer from Team Magma attack. It evolve into a Cascoon after defeating Team Magma at Petalburg Woods and again into Dustox after another defeat for Team Magma at Rustboro. It mostly use its barrier attacks to sheild and protect everyone from trouble. While battling against Brawly, it use moonlight to recover Tatay from injuries. As for Sidney's Absol, it finishes it with a powerful silver wind.

While at route 118, Landon caught this Oddish to send Wally's Ralts to attack a wild Pelipper. It evolves into a Gloom in a training with Flannery and into Vileplume after touching a Leaf Stone at Mt. Pyre. It somehow use its spores to counter attacks. While battling Phoebe's Dusclops, it use petal dance to restore and counter it.


Numel-Camerupt

Nature:Quiet Ability:Magma armor Level:77
Attack:earthquake, flamethrower, rock slide, eruption, take down
While at Mt. Chimney, Landon caught this Numel to absorb the fire given out by Flannery's Torkoal. It evolve into Camerupt while battling Winona's Altaria with an eruption. It somehow use certain tricks to let a Pokemon stuck tight in his humps to deliver an eruption. While battling Glacia's Glalie, it use earthquake to counter Glalie's speed and use its humps to stuck Steven's Aggron horns.

Emerald Series
A month after the 11th league, Landon sailed to Battle Frontier with his friends. There, he meet Jordan, who stole a Pokedex and a Treecko from Prof. Birch. He then sends Jordan for a mission to protect and capture Jirachi but Guile Hideout appears a cause Jirachi to escape.
At the 5th day of Battle Frontier opening week, Landon take a Dome tournament and lost to Tucker. He then reappear at the 70th floor of Battle Tower disguising in armor to trick for Jirachi but his secret quickly fall apart. He later taught the rest with the ultimate move and eventually help Jordan to recognize his fault.
Later, Landon's Tatay then team up with Wally's Flygon to break of Guile's armor, following by a double ultimate Hydro Cannon by Zuzu and Swamparo while Nunu along with Bolt deliver a double Volt Tackle to disperse the fake creature.

Sapphire Series
A year after the Groudon incident, Landon get to do some research along with Wally. In several part, he somehow steal the letter Mr. Stone had which he found out to be releasing the Regitrio. He even captures Rayquaza all by himself which was later discovered by the rest. Once again, he disguise himself as Team Aqua and took the Blue Orb.
Landon once again appear in Seafloor Cavern which he disguise in Team Aqua to fool Archie but his secret falls apart fast. Failling to stop Kyogre, all of them work together to calm Kyogre, Landon later sends Rayquaza to subdue Kyogre.
After this incident, Landon was gone missing again until another story begins.

Ruby Series
Landon begin his journey when his family move to Hoenn at his 11th birthday. Knowing that his father will not allow him to go, he ran away from home intend to fulfilled his dream of conquering the gym battles. He then meet up with Prof. Birch who was chased by 2 Mightyena which end up being saved by May. He then misunderstand her as a Pokemon and engage a battle. He then took a Mudkip and a Pokedex from Prof. Birch's briefcase and embarked his journey.
At Petalburg, Landon meets up with Wally, a chronically ill youngster. The 2 then become friends and managed to capture a Pokemon for Wally. After he leaves, he face against Team Magma at Petalburg Woods who was trying to rob the Devon and challange Roxanne and win. Landon continue his journey to Dewford by travelling on Mr. Briney's ship. Once he arrives Dewford, he battles Brawly and went for a walk in Granite Cave. There, he meets Steven and become friends.
At Slateport, Landon saved the whole fan club and Capt. Stern from being rob by Team Magma. Later, he help Wattson to activate the electric machine at New Mauville. While taking a scholl back to Rustboro, he had a fight with Steven's Beldum and challenge to Flannery a race battle which end up meeting Team Magma who were planning to activate the volcano but was stopped by him. After this incident, Landon trains along with Flannery to protect Hoenn in the future.
However, Team Magma came attacking the ship at Slateport which he escaped all the way to route 119 and engage a deadly battle with his father at the Weather Institude, which he realise his father's true love. After he dispute the battle, Landon continue his journey. At Fortree, he helped Winona to save Castform which was under Team Magma experimental project. When he continue his journey, he gives a chase for Team Magma who were planning to steal the orbs at Mt. Pyre. He team up along with Steven but failed to stop them, causing the Red Orb to send into his body without him noticing.
At Lilycove, he team up with May to stop Team Magma at the Magma Hideout, which May realise that all Landon do is a pretence and part on bad team. Landon continue his way to Mossdeep and he heard the conversation between his father and the scientist in the Mossdeep Space Centre, which he realise how hard his father had been doing. He then did some training with Tate&Liza, which he was taught to train the Red Orb and plays his role as the Hoenn protector.
When Team Magma has finally awaken Groudon, Landon gets to Seaflour Cavern to battle but was being bring out to Lilycove and again to Sootopolis. At Sootopolis, he meet up with Steven and Wallace and they volunteer to help him but Landon trick and trapped them in Wallace aircar and battle Groudon all by himself. However, he attempt failed and he managed to capture it.
Maxie suddenly came out to seize him and trapped him in the larva warp created by Groudon. With the help of the 2 feathers, Landon managed to save himself and ride in time along with Steven and Wallace. Later, Landon get to chase Maxie by himself and calm Groudon, eventually lost in time. His death brings sorrow to the entire Hoenn region.
However, he reappear again at the Victory Road and came messing up the opening ceremony of the Ever Grande City Pokemon League. He take part in the tournament and managed to defeat the champ. At the end, Landon succeed fulfilling his goal and went to his secret base at route 120 to decorate it.
